For all my American / English FB-Friends, this will be a very awkward blog post maybe...
Where’s the special Halloween part, the pumpkins, the skulls, spider webs?
Well, here in The Netherlands we don’t (yet) celebrate it in that spectacular, playful
and colourful way as in other parts of the world… So nothing like that today!

I did some
research into history (-: According
to the legend, "Death" appears at
midnight every year on Halloween. “Death” calls for the dead from their graves to
dance for him while he plays his fiddle (represented by a solo violin).
His skeletons dance for him until the rooster crows at dawn, when they must return
to their graves until the next year…

a queen, a maid, a pope,
an emperor, a king, child, and a labourer...

That was my inspiration for designing a little little bracelet…

That was my inspiration for designing a little little bracelet…
I used some
pearls, ruby’s, moonstone, lapis lazuli and sapphire to represent a queen or a

pewter, lava stone and copper bead caps to represent the maid
and some small pearls for the child…

Because of role
