Into the Forest Blog Hop - Reveal Date January 11th.

 Forest Walk

I ask my husband -who has no idea about this blog hop- what his first association
is when looking at this bracelet… He mentiones the name of a small forest
located close to where we live. Okay, right! Mission accomplished J

I decided to take a walk (-: and enjoy all those lovely shades of green. Our winter is
mild this year, no snow, no ice, with a lot of sunny days until now!

There are even some dried up brambles there, when you take a good look.
And  lots of brown coloured dead branches with dried up 'golden' leafs.
A perfect concept for my design...

The focal used as a centrepiece is made by Shaterra, she is 'on Etsy'.
I used some of the Czech
glass beads from the bead kit sent by Lisa Lodge
(our
♥lovely hostess) in my design. The glass
beads are made by me,
the semi-precious leaves were in my stash for years!

In my bracelet Forest Walk, you find the sunbeams (a bit on the right side)
and all kind of different forest flora greens with a  hint of purplish red for
some
berries in my glass beads…

Enjoy my and your virtual Into the Forest Fun!

  1. How clever to get your husband's impression, Dini (though I'm pretty sure mine would answer "Looks like some beads" no imagination LOL) I agree, your lovely design beautifully tells the story of your walk of discovery in the woods :) May I add, I am very jealous you are having such a mild winter in the Netherlands... you may have heard here in North America we are breaking records for extreme weather :(

  17. Oh Dina, it's GORGEOUS! Yes, I agree with your husband, you beautifully created forest jewelry! Your bracelet is like a walk in the woods, full of beauty and treasures to be discovered. I look here and there are berries to behold, I look there and the fauna is full of color to celebrate. I can almost hear the sound of crinkling, crunching leaves beneath my feet and feel the soft earth with each step. Your beautifully art brings so much sensory energy & delights me with memories of the wonderful forest smell, the gentle quiet, the rich life and organic beauty of the forest. I LOVE it!
