Choosy
Chicks Choose Chicklets Design Challenge!
always surprises us with what she’s coming up
with…
This time she sends us, as a gift, a tiny
little bead, made by Sue Beads.
A chicklet. That’s what we are going to create
with J
I remember some kind of chewing gum when I was a child, and that's it.
My dictionary says:
My dictionary says:
?????
‘We’ are free to buy some additional chicklet beads, and that’s what I did!
They are so sweet! I did that before seeing ‘my’ chicklet.
When it arrived I found a chocolate brown beauty.
Luckily I choose light blue, banana and a gun
metal coloured beady…
That made it easy
for me, brown and blue, a classy combination. I love that.
Fond of making bracelets
as I am, yes... that’s what I designed.
I added some agate beads, montana rock
crystal, some pewter rings and
aquamarine facetted beads. And… I made 2 glass beads, the roses.
With the
same glass as the 1 black /greyish bead I bought.
Some jasper
butterflies are added because it’s...
Summertime!
There were 2 chicklets left, the banana coloured sweeties.
A nice colour
for some earrings. There’s a touch of grey in them.
So I added some hematite cubes and jet
black crystal beads and gilded bead
caps for the sparkly part. The earrings are made of sterling silver.
Rita, I hope I did give your chicklet a good home!
It has found some chicklet
brothers and sisters in that far away new adopted country!
Thank you so much for organizing the hop.

Beautiful! I love your color combinations...perfect for the chicklet you received! :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI held back from getting extra chiclets, but they're so precious. They made lovely earrings. The glass roses you made are lovely too. And I posted early because I couldn't wait
BeantwoordenVerwijderenbeautiful pieces and i LOVE the banana colored earrings - so so cute! =)

Both pieces are lovely as always. But the earrings are my fav. I am just feeling partial to yellow this summer. Earrings are bright remind me of summer flowers.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth the necklace and earrings are lovely. I really like the use of the chicklets in the bracelet as one is a charm and the rest aren't. Fun! I also had to laugh at the definition of chicklet. I had never read that about a young girl before. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful designs. Those creamy banana yellow earrings are delicious. And I am glad you posted the definition. I had no idea chicklets were anything other than little chicks. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwhat fun, whimsical designs with butterflies! and those earrings are really sweet :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful and classy designs, Dini :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour chicklets are lovely colors and you used them well. Beautiful bracelet and earrings.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat bracelet! I really like how you varied how you attached the chicklet beads.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth the bracelet and earrings are so pretty. Really like your pieces.

That bracelet is gorgeous, love the colors and each bead a beauty in itself. The earrings are precious, such a happy sunny color!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe bracelet is really cool, but I am just in love with those earrings! From the earwire to the colors, they rock!!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGorgeous bracelet , Dini and those yellow earrings are adorable. You were lucky to get the chicklet you got since it complements the others so well. I love that you researched the meaning of chicklets, LOL.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenChicklets are popping out all over! Wonderful!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBlue, grey and chocolate look so good in the bracelet! The chicklet you received both stands out and looks comfortable with the other colors and shapes. I like how you accommodated so many different beads in this bracelet! I like the earrings, too - three different shapes in harmony!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou have good taste!! I love your bracelet and earrings.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the colors! The bracelet reminds me of a storm, while the earrings are totally sunshine! Great contrast!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDini you make a good choice of the colors to match with the chiclets...My favorite is the yellow earrings...I love earrings...and I like the hook...I have a tutorial in my blog how to make it...
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGorgeous bracelet and earrings.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful pieces! I love the yellow earrings! So summery! Excellent job!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe yellow earrings are darling. So simple and would make a great accent to a gray dress.
